Who are we?

Animus Vici is a premium quality fashion boutique with a mission to end childhood cancer. We work towards this goal by donating 50% of our profits to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. It is the world leader in childhood cancer research, as well as provides affected families and patients free stay and provides for all of their needs.
Childhood Cancer is currently the leading cause of death in children, and there has been little to no development in finding a cure since the 90s (over 25 yrs!). We felt a moral duty to lead a charge and inspire people around the world to help give to this just cause. Who deserves your money more than innocent kids with cancer? We feel that by selling clothes, we are doing two things.
1. Giving you a direct donation to kids for treatment they NEED, as well as providing you with something you NEED.
2. Giving you something to show off, and spread our movement! What is better than telling your friends that the cool clothing item you're wearing is helping end childhood cancer?

Why were we founded?

As a solution for the funding of ending childhood cancer.
We want to provide clothing that a customer could wear every day, and create a steady revenue stream for St. Jude's, who relies solely on donations to operate.

What does Animus Vici mean? What does that symbol with the Owl mean?

Animus Vici (pronounced: Ann-uh-mus Vee-chee) is latin for Soul Wins. We chose this because cancer can touch our body, but it can't touch our soul, and therefore soul always win in the end. Just like Soul, Animus too will win in the end at ending childhood cancer.

The owl is Lakota-Sioux. The Owl in Lakota-Sioux culture is the symbol for wisdom.

Where is my money going?

Great Question! This store's mission is to end childhood cancer and that means getting as much of our free resources (our net profit) to institutions that help the most with this cause. We did our research and decided that St. Jude Children's Hospital was the most worthy of institutions.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has pushed childhood cancer survival rates up 60% since it was founded by treatments developed at the hospital.
Their research focuses on cancer, sickle cell disease, and various other disastrous diseases.  They share their discoveries worldwide, fighting for children's lives no matter where they live.
They also treat children at no cost.  Cancer treatments are sky high, with a quarter of all diagnosed patients putting off treatments because they can't afford it.  The average monthly cost for a patient with insurance is $712 dollars-- or $8,544 a year.
St. Jude's operations, roughly $2 million a day, rely primarily on donations.  This is where Animus Vici comes in.
Our company's mission is entirely humanitarian.  We've designated our products' profits as a steady source of income for St. Jude's.

What is a Spiritwarrior?

You and our entire community are spiritwarriors! Spiritwarrior comes from Native American culture as people who were excellent warriors of change, marked by their brave hearts and ability to connect with the spiritual. We thought that it was perfectly fitting to name our community spiritwarriors.

What is the fitting for these Tees?

All fittings can be found with the individual product.
